The firm  SIA „ REIDS” is established and registered in the Register of the Enterprises of the Latvian Republic in 1993 as a society with limited liability (Ltd). The basic work directions of the firm are supply, installation, starting-up and adjustment works before equipment delivery in operation, testing and repair with issue of certificates of the following equipment:

• Communication equipment, incl. GMDSS
• Equipment of the satellite communication (INMARSAT; IRIDIUM);
• AIS equipment;
•  Navigation equipment (radars, echo-sounding devices, logs);
• GPS equipment;
• Systems of the electronic cartography;
• Gyrocompasses;
• Systems of simulator complexes.

The clients of SIA REIDS are Naval Forces of Latvia, Latvian Borderguard, Riga Transport Fleet,  Latvian Shipping Company, Latvian Marine Academy, Liepaja Marine College, fishing companies of Latvia and Lithuania, and other maritime companies in Latvia and abroad.
